Meal Frequency is a LIE
Meal frequency is a lie! Yes that's correct!
The amount of meals you eat is not going to "speed up the metabolism to burn fat". There is a thermogenic effect to food being consumed frequently compared to infrequently but it is extremely minimal and it is not significant enough to notice any fat burning effect. The idea of needing to eat every 2 hours a day comes from the supplement industry and its gimmicks.
It is very, very hard to eat 25 grams of protein from chicken or tilapia or whatever protein sources every 2 hours so it forces people to begin investing in protein powders. Protein powders are not bad, they are great for getting in protein per day conveniently but they should never be one's sole source of protein or relied on like a crutch.
You can have as many meals as you like as stated earlier. Personally I like to have between 3-4 meals a day and I also do intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting will be a topic I will go over later into the program but for now, lets get into discussing about why we aren't cutting out MOST foods.
